this is Street poetry
and I call this one

my history lesson

my history is no mystery
if you’re so inclined
my past here at last
is put on full blast
whatever I’ve done
or I’m going to do
is an open book
that I will show you
but if he who so desires
to have a true picture
of the events which have transpired
and they pronounce what I have written
to be of use to them
then I will be satisfied
my history is an everlasting possession
and not a prize composition which is heard and then forgotten
I’m a one-of-a-kind
and of that you shall find
and I really don’t mind
so let my history
be put on rewind
